Mounted high above the shore a Free Space
Optical link communicating at 1Gbps full duplex beams data over
1km back and forth at the speed of light. Physically secure the
system uses high speed light to connect two sites together. The
link cannot be seen or scanned and does not radiate radio waves
that may cause interface in a health environment.
The laser has the added benefit of auto tracking alignment,
built into each head the laser realigns itself every 30 seconds
to accommodate building sway and movement essential for long
distance links, especially in New Zealand.
Typical installation takes around 3-4 days and does not require
a license or planning - this link would typically be a primary
link, redundant back up, last mile connection or complete the
loop. Ideal for Disaster Recovery and server duplication. |

***Auto tracking 1Gbps full duplex Laser - Sky Tower in the

Business to Business Link 1Gbps Wireless off site Data storage
Our latest link spans 1km across South Auckland, proprietary
encryption secures the link with 1Gbps full duplex communication and
effectively 0 latency high speed connectivity.

The wireless link although fixed can
accommodate some building sway and can be fixed to a variety of
surfaces including pole mount. An ideal alternative to laser
where fitting location could be difficult (these will also work
through windows).
This particular link is used to link off site data storage and
management negating the need for a costly leased line, which in
this case would have had to be trenched into place.
The link was operational within a few days with a 5Ghz wireless
backup link installed at the same time. The link has proven to
be reliable and "not missed a beat" to quote the customer. |

Farm CCTV installation.
A wireless camera and computer-based security solution has been
installed at Oneriri Station to monitor various locations across the
farm such as access roads, sheds, sheep pens, fuel depot and
homestead.
Oneriri Station is a large Beef & Sheep Station of 30000 stock units
situated on the Kaipara Harbour.
"Given the size and scale of our operation, our large investment in
buildings, plant & equipment, it made sense for us to investigate an
appropriate and cost effect method of monitoring and protecting
those assets." says Tony Walden
"24 hr surveillance & recording gives us great comfort and knowledge
that we are always in a position to detect activities that are
adding to the increase in rural crime.
The System is up and working very well and it is our intention to
extend coverage the wider property and coastline." added Tony
Walden.
Installer believes farm and rural security, tagging, street crime,
damage to community facilities, theft and vandalism is a current
issue that may be addressed by his ‘Clevercom.co.nz’ camera system.
“Our systems provide more eyes to watch problem areas with the
ability to record and review content,” Mr Rose says.
The cameras provide proof, if needed, of an event, and takes the
pressure away from a person in the community having to step forward
as a witness and risk direct reprisals.
The seven cameras, some of which are night vision and pan tilt zoom,
are placed around an area of 1.5 square kilometers and send video
footage back to the central computer system at the homestead, where
all seven cameras are displayed and controlled on one computer.
The cameras record ‘24/7’ real time video for all cameras with event
motion detection in key areas, explains installer . All recordings
are stored locally and off-site for any period of time.
The camera system can also be viewed and controlled over a secure
connection from the office in Auckland, or anywhere in the world, as
if they were at the farm, Mr Rose says “I believe this is the first
affordable CCTV system to be installed into a large distributed farm
over such a large area without wires,” he adds. “We also have
similar systems in place at Gulf Harbour Marina, various business
sites and budget domestic sites for tagging and crime prevention.”
Clevecom CCTV systems can start with just one or two cameras and
build right up to 16 on one computer. Solutions for domestic sites
are available with a moveable camera from just $1650 plus gst
installed with training, small farms for between $4000 and $6000
right up to large corporate distributed solutions.
