 CleverGuard
Wireless Call Alert.
CleverGuard is a simple
effective product developed by ourselves to provide cost effective
communication, control and monitoring in various environments over
distributed sites. The CleverGuard program is the "Glue" that sits
in the middle of the solution talking with, monitoring and
reacting to a variety of tailored trigger inputs such as switches,
call points, PIR motion detection, floor pads, water/smoke
detection and many more.
Each reaction is specific to
each trigger this allows us in one instance to move a CCTV camera
to record a location simultaneously sending a page and setting off
a siren, while another trigger may only send out a silent page.
As we produce CleverGuard
ourselves tailoring each solution to your specific needs is simple
rather than a one product fits all approach and we have seen
recent success in Health Care, Mobile Security and Marina
applications.
The example below is based on a
Marina deployment however please make contact with your specific
requirements.
CleverGuard:
CleverGuard has been developed to monitor wireless call alert
pedestals placed on Piers in the Marina environment. CleverGuard
consists of mainly 4 components:
1. CleverGuard Software - Developed and written by ourselves
the software resides on a computer in the admin/security office and
talks to all of the wireless pedestal alert switches asking every
1-3 seconds if they have been activated (always on system). The
software maps out visually on screen the location of each pedestal
on a marina map green pedestals are good red are activated. Once an
activation occurs the software pops a window naming the location and
local details of access, sends email/sms message to designated staff
and sets of an audio alert (also automatically moves a CCTV camera
to alert location).
2. A wireless transmitter/receiver at the admin/security
office talks to all pedestals in the Marina and the CleverGuard
computer.
3. Each pedestal has its own radio transmitter/receiver
sending the status of the alert switch every 1-3 seconds.
4. The pedestal is a robust IP rated unit designed for harsh
environments and also incorporates a strobe light for easy
identification.
CleverGuard CCTV Interaction - When CleverGuard is incorporated into
a Clevercom CCTV solution CleverGuard will also inform Pan Tilt Zoom
cameras to move and zoom into the activated pedestal. In most cases
this will also give you a live view of events at the moment they
happen adding swift diagnosis of the incident (fire, man down, man
overboard etc) and also a video record of the event for post
reports.
CleverGuard Overview:

Each
pier pedestal is connected into the dedicated wireless mesh and
routes back into a control PC typically based at marina
administration.

The
control PC displays a map of the marina and locations of pedestals,
live pedestals are displayed as green, activated or alerted
pedestals are displayed as flashing red.

As
soon as the control PC sees a pedestal alert the computer will sound
an audio alarm (this could be piped to a PA or other sound system)
and sends out a sms/email alert to key personnel.

Should
the Harbour Master for instance be on the water the sms will provide
details of the alert and location to his or her phone.

Instant alert information at your desk and your phone.

No
cable break down or cable maintenance.

Power
back up option to maintain operations even with power loss.

Notifies of power loss on piers – via email/sms message.

Integrates with Clevercom CCTV cameras, in the event of an alert the
camera will swing round, record and focus on the alerting pedestal.

Remote
CCTV monitoring will also receive notification of pedestal alerts
with upgrade version.

Will
indicate/print key information for specific alerts, such as hose
length recommended and issues.

ourselves any modifications can be made to meet your own personal

Installation:
We
install the proposed system, configure and test to your satisfaction
- training follows either at the time or at suitable follow up
visit. Domestic sites will require full payment at the point of sign
